POC's Receptor+ nominated for the Design S Award

It is with great joy that we received the news this morning. POC has once again been nominated for the Design S Award. This time it's the Receptor+ helmet which is nominated. One helmet developed and certified for a number modern actionsports, such as skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, biking and watersports such as wake or kiteboarding. Something thought to be impossible but thanks to convincement and perseverance, using existing POC patents and coming up with new patent pending solutions, we succeeded.

"It's truly rewarding to be acknowledged for these kinds of projects and products, considering the passion and endurance it takes from the organization to make them happen", says Stefan Ytterborn, CEO POC.

Two years ago POC was awarded a Design S, for it's corporate design.

The Advertising Association of Sweden, the Swedish Industrial Design Foundation and Svensk Form (the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design) have jointly created Swedish Design Award to reward Sweden's best design solutions with a "Design S". Swedish Design Award aims to demonstrate that good design can lead to better communication, better business, better functionality and better sustainability. In short, that good design can be of decisive importance.
