POC WHEELS Season 2010 recap

Thank you guys for a great season!

What more can you ask for? Our new POC Wheels product line has won many awards this past year. But that does not stop us from refining them further. We do so with the help of our amazing team, who once again have outdone themselves. Here is a short summary of what they have been up to this season:

Martin Söderström. SWE. Dirt/Slopestyle
Swedish superstar Martin Söderström has had a fantastic year! Among many victories and podiums, he got 1st place in both Big in Bavaria and in T-mobile Extreme Playgrounds! 2nd in Vienna Air King and 3rd at Crankworx Colorado. Even though the last years have been treating Martin well, we are really excited to see what more great things lie ahead for him.

Daniel Dhers. VEN. BMX
Daniel Dehrs is no rookie in the BMX world. However, by winning his third X-games gold (Park) he is already becoming a living legend. This year's victory was Daniels third in four years! As if that was not enough, Daniel also managed win the Dew Tour Overall BMX Park title and come 2nd at Nike 6.0 HB. Daniel also hosted his own competition in Caracas, Venezuela, to support local talents and his home community.

Danny MacAskill. SCOTLAND. Trial/Street
Danny MacAskill, the trials and street sensation, is used to the limelight, with for example recognition in media such as New York Times and the Herald Tribune. Danny has spent a big part of the season filming in Scotland for the upcoming film "Way Back Home". His videos get massive number of viewers, the latest video has over 20 mio views - and counting.

Anthony Napolitan. USA. BMX
Anthony Napolitan, being the first ever to land a double front-flip on a BMX is not an easy task to beat. In the meanwhile, Anthony got up on some podiums; 1st at the T-Mobile extreme playgrounds in Germany and 3rd at The Dew Tour in Las Vegas (Dirt).

Robin Wallner. SWE. Downhill
Robin Wallner, the Swedish downhill star proved his colors this summer when he won the European Championships. Robin also won the Scandinavian Photo Challenge as a member of team Canaska. With Robin in this mode, we cant wait for the next season to begin!

Drew Bezanson. CAN. BMX
Drew Bezanson has amazed both the BMX community and us by producing his own small webisodes documenting his unique riding. Drew was also voted the Ramp rider of the year at the 2010 Ride BMX Nora Cups Awards. So far his top results this year are 3 victories; 1st at Simpel Session Estonia, Toronto BMX Jam and at Jomo Pro in Joplin. After a rough last year with injuries, it is time for Drew to shine!

Andrew Shandro. CAN. DH/Freeride
After years of filming with the Collective, and being a key competitor in all events, Andrew has started his own camps to convey all his experience. This summer was a success with 280 campers getting the chance to ride with Andrew.
