POC proudly announces its participation in a space technology transfer project in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA) and Umbilical Design.

The basic idea with the ESA Space Technology Transfer Project is to develop commercial everyday products with space technology integrated. The Swedish National Space Board has partly financed the project, which is performed by Umbilical Design in cooperation with the ESA Space Technology Transfer Project and POC. The goal is to create synergies between two fields of extreme environments and develop innovative ski gear products. The products will have space material and/or technology integrated for enhanced performance. Prototypes will be exhibited during the autumn of 2005. Updates will follow as the project progresses.
